    ٢١٧١ - (ت ٨٤١ هـ): أحمد بن محمد بن إسماعيل، الصَّعِيْديُّ ثم المَكِّيُّ، نزيل دمشق، وسبط الشيخ عبد القوي، الحنبليُّ. قال السَّخاوي في "الضَّوء" (¬٣)، ذكره النجم بن فهد في "معجمه" وغيره، ولد بمكة سنة تسع عشرة وثمان مئة ونشأ بها، وسافر إلى دمشق، فانقطع بسفح قاسِيون، ولازم أبا شَعَر كثيرًا، وبه تفَقَّة، وانتفع وتزوَّج هناك، وأقام بها، وقد سمعمن ابن فهد بدمشق على ابن الطَّحَّان وغيره، سنة سبع وثلاثين وثمان مئة، ومات بها في الطَّاعون سنة إحدى وأربعين وثمان مئة، ودفن بسَفْح قاسِيْون. انتهى.
