١٩٣١ - (ت ٧٩٦ هـ): يحيى بن محمد بن علي الكناني العَسْقَلاني، الحنبلي، أمين الدين. قال ابن حجر في "الإنباء" (¬٤): هو عمُّ شيخنا عبد الله بن علاء الدين، سمع من الميدومي وغيره، وحدَّث. رأيته ولم يتفق لي أنْ أسمعَ منه، توفي سنة ستًّ وتسعين وسبع مئة. قاله ابن العماد في "الشذرات" (¬٥).
