١٩١٤ - (ت ٧٩١): أحمد بن عمر بن محمود بن سلمان بن فهد الحلبي الأصل، الدمشقي، الحنبلي، شهاب الدين بن زين الدين بن شهاب الدين المعروف بابن القنبيط. قال ابن حجر في "الإنباء" (¬٢): ولد سنة عشر أو نحوها، وسمع من أمين الدين محمد بن أبي بكر بن النحاس وغيره، ووقع في الدست، وكان أكبرهم سنًا، وأقدمهم، مات في ربيع الأول سنة إحدى وتسعين وسبع مئة عن ثمانين سنة وزيادة، ولم يحدّث شيئًا. انتهى المراد منه. وذكره ابن العماد (¬٣) بنحوه.
