    ١٨٦٦ - (ت ٧٧٨ هـ): علي بن محمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن عثمان بن سعد بن المُنَجَّا الحنبلي، الشيخ الكبير، الصَّالح، علاء الدين. قال ابن العماد (¬٣): سمعَ "صحيح البخاري" من وزيرة، وسمع من عيسى المطعم وغيره، وحدَّث فسمع منه الشيخ شهاب الدين بن حجي، وقال: هو من بيت كبير، ورجل جيَّد، وهو أخو الشيخة فاطمة بنت المُنَجَّا شيخة ابن حجر العَسْقَلاني التي أكثر عنها عاشت بعده بضعًا وعشرين سنة، حتّى كانت خاتمة المسندين بدمشق. توفي في ربيع الآخر سنة ثمانٍ وسبعين وسبع مئة عن ثمانٍ وستين سنة.
