١٨٦٢ - (ت ٧٧٧ هـ): محمد بن سالم بن عبد الرَّحمن بن عبد الجليل، المصري الحنبلي، المفتي، الشيخ، الإمام العالم، العامل شمس الدين. كان مقيمًا بالشام، فحصل له رمدٌ ونزل ماءٌ بعينيه، فتوجه إلي مصر للتداوي، ونزل في مدارس الحنابلة، وحصل له تدريس مدرسة السلطان حسن، توفي يومَ السبت سادس عشري شعبان سنةَ سبع وسبعينَ وسبع مئة بالقاهرة قاله ابن العماد (¬١). وذكره ابن عبد الهادي (¬٢).
