    ١٧٤٤ - (ت ٧٥٤ هـ): محمَّد بنُ سَعيد بن المَنَّي، الحَلبي، نزيلُ القاهِرة، الحنبلي. قال ابنُ حجر في "الدُّرر" (¬٣): ولد سَنة أربع وسَبعين وسِتَّ مئة. وسمعَ من التَّقيَّ بنِ مُؤمن، والأَبَرْقُوهِي، والعزَّ بن الفَرَّاء. وتَعِبَ وحصَّل، وأفادَ وأجاد، وكانَ محمودَ الصِّفات. ماتَ في شَهر شَعبان، سَنة أربع وخمسين وسَبع مئة. ذكرَهُ الذَّهبي في "معجمه"، وقال: سمعتُ من شعره. انتهى.
