    ١٧٢١ - (ت ٧٤٩ هـ): محمَّدُ بن عمر بن أبي القاسم بن عُمر، السَّلاوِي، ثم الدِّمشقي، يكنى أبا محمد كاسمه، الحَنبلي. قال ابنُ حجر في "الدُّرَر" (¬٣): ولد سَنة تِسعٍ وخَمسين وستَّ مئة. وقيل في الَّتي بعدَها. وأُسمع على أحمد بن عبد الدائم "صحيح مسلم"، وعلى ابن أبي اليُسر "سُنن النَّسائي"، وسمع من غيرهما، وحدَّث. ومات في شوَّال، سَنة تسع وأربعين وسَبع مئة. انتهى.
