    ١٦٥٢ - (ت ٧٤٢ هـ): عمر بن أبي بكر بن معالي بن إبراهيم بن زيد، الحِمْصِي الحنبلي المَهِيْني البسطي التاجر. قال ابن حَجَر في "الدُّرَر" (¬٣): ولد بدمشق سنة أربعٍ وستين وست مئة، وسمع من الفخر بن البخاري "مشيخته"، سمع منه البِرْزالي وغيره. قال ابن كثير: صحب الشيخ تقي الدين ابن تيمية، وانتفع بصحبته، وحدث، وكان كثير التلاوة والبِرِّ والصلاة، وحضور مجالس الذِّكر. مات في أواخر شعبان، سنة اثنتين وأربعين وسبع مئة. انتهى.
