١٦٢٠ - (ت ٧٣٩ هـ): محمد بن عبد العزيز بن الشيخ عبد القادر، الجِيْلاني الحنبلي، شمس الدين. قال ابن العماد (¬٢): قال الذهبي: هو شيخ بلاد الجزيرة، الإِمام القدوة، كان عالمًا صالحًا وقورًا، وافر الحرمة والجلالة، حَجَّ مرتين، وروى عن الفخر علي بدمشق وبغداد، وخلَّف أولادًا كبارًا، لهم كفايةٌ وحرمةٌ. وتوفي في أول ذي الحجة، سنة تسعٍ وثلاثين وسبع مئة بقرية الحيال من عمل سنجار، عن سبعٍ وثمانين سنةً. انتهى. وذكره ابن حجر في "الدُّرَر" (¬٣)، والحسيني في "ذيل طبقات الحفاظ" (¬٤) وغير واحد. وقال الحسيني: إنه محمد بن محمد بن عبد العزيز.
