١٥٤٢ - (ت ٧٢٧ هـ): سنقر بن عبد الله الجوشني، الحنبلي، شمس الدين، مولى البدر بن طاهر بن إسماعيل. قال ابن حجر في "الدُّرر" (¬١): كان رجلًا صالحًا، سمعَ من النجيب وابن خطيب المِزَّة، والعماد الحسيني، وابن العماد وأحمد بن حمدان، والصُّورِي، وجَمَاعة من أصحاب ابن باقا، وحدث وكان يسقي الماء في حانوت بباب النصر ويتسبب فيه، وحَدَّثَ ذكرهُ ابنُ رافعٍ في "معجمه" وقال: ماتَ ليلة النِّصْفِ من المحرم سنةَ سبعٍ وعشرينَ وسبع مئة. انتهى.
