    ١٥٣٩ - (ت ٧٢٧ هـ): محمد بن محمود بن سلمان بن فهد الحَلَبِيُّ الرَّئِيْس، الحنبلي، شمسُ الدين بن شهاب الدين محمود. قال ابنُ حجر في "الدُّرر" (¬٤): وُلِدَ سنةَ تسعٍ وستينَ وست مئةٍ، وسمع من الفخر وغيره، وتعانى الخط فأجاد جدًا، وباشر مع أبيه كتابة السِّر، وكان كثيرَ التَّوَاضُعِ فلم يُغَيَّرْهُ المَنْصِبُ، وله شعرٌ، وَوَلِيَ مكانَ أبيه بعده، مات في شوال سنةَ سبعٍ وعشرينَ وسبع مئة. انتهى. وذكره ابن العماد (¬٥) وقال: هو القاضي الأديب كاتب السِّرِّ، ثم ذكر نحوه.
