١٥٠٩ - (ت ٧٢٣ هـ): علي بن محمد بن عطاف الرَّسْعَني، النشاب، الحنبلي.قال ابن حجر في "الدُّرَر" (¬١): ولد سنة أربعٍ وثلاثينَ وست مئة مع أخٍ له توأمًا برأس العَيْن، وجَدُّه لأمه الشيخ عثمان بن علي الصرصري، ومات بها في سنة إحدى وأربعين وست مئة، وكان أدرك الشيخ عبد القادر، وَعُمَر، وقدمَ دمشقَ سنة ثمان وخمسين وست مئة فأقام بها، وسمع من الرضي الطبري وعثمان بن رشيق بقايا السلف، ومات في أوَّل سنةِ ثلاثٍ وعشرين وسبع مئة انتهى.
