    ١٤٣٣ - (ت ٧١٠ هـ): محمَّد بن عمران، أبو عبد الله الوطائي، الحَرَّاني الحنبلي، الضَّرِير المقرئ المتقن. قال ابن الجَزَري في "الغاية" (¬٢): قدم دمشق، فقرأ بها على المعَصَّاتي والفاضلي، وحفظ "التيسير" وبرع في القراءات والفقه، وتفقه على مذهب أحمد، وكان يُلَقَّن إلى جانب البرادة من الجامع الأموي، مات قبل الكهولة في سنة عشرٍ وسبع مئة. انتهى. وذكره ابن حَجَر في "الدُّرَر" (¬٣) وقال: سمع ببغداد بعد الثمانين، وقدم دمشق فأخذ عن الفاضلي وغيره، وكان بارعًا متقنًا، وأرَّخ وفاته سنة عشرين، لكنها كتبت بالرَّمز، فلهذا اعتمدت ابن الجَزَري بذلك.
