    ١٣٧٨ - (ت ٧٠١ هـ): علي بن عبد الغني بن الفخر، ابن تَيْمِيَّة، الشاهد الحنبلي. قال ابن حَجَر (¬٤): ولد سنة تسع عشرة وست مئة، وسمع الموفَّق عبد اللطيف، وأبا الحسن بن رُوْزْبَه وغيرهما، وجلس في الشهود، وكان عاقلًا مرضيَّ الطريقة، مات في سابع عشر شهر ربيع الآخر، سنة إحدى وسبع مئة. انتهى. وقال ابن العماد (¬٥): قال الذهبي: حَدَّثنا عن الموفَّق عبد اللطيف، وابن رُوْزْبه. ومات عن اثنتين وثمانين سنة، ويُكْنى أبا العلاء. توفي سنة إحدى وسبع مئة. انتهى. وذكره السُّيُوطي في "حسن المحاضرة" (¬٦).
