    ١٣٥٥ - (ت ٦٩٩ هـ): أبو بكر بن أحمد بن عبد الرحمن بن عبد المنعم، النَّابُلُسِيُّ، الفقيهُ، الحنبليُّ، سيفُ الدين أبو بكر بن الشِّهاب أبي العَبَّاس. قال ابن العماد (¬٣): كان مولِدُه سنةَ سبعينَ وست مئة، وروى عنه الذهبي في معجمه وقال: كان فقيهًا، حنبليًا، مناظرًا، صالحًا، يَتَوَسْوَسُ في الماء، سمع بمصر جماعةً، وتَفَقَّهَ على ابن حمدان، وسمع بدمشق بعد الثمانين، وسمع معنا كثيرًا، وكان مطبوعًا، عارفًا بالمذهب، مناظرًا، ذكيًا، حسنَ المذاكرة، عُدِمَ في الفتنة سنة تسعٍ وتسعينَ وست مئة. انتهى. وذكره ابن رجب (¬٤) بنحوه.
