    ١٣٥٣ - (ت ٦٩٩ هـ): داود بن عبد الله بن كوشيار الفقيه، الحنبلي، المناظر، شرف الدين أبو أحمد. قال ابن العماد (¬٣): كان بغداديًا، فقيهًا، مناظرًا، عارفًا بالفقه، وله تصانيفُ في الفقه، والأصول، وغيرها، توفي في حدود سنة تسعٍ وتسعينَ وست مئة. انتهى. وذكره ابنُ رجب (¬٤) وقال: كان فقيهًا، بارعًا، عارفًا بالفقه، والأصلين، دَرَّسَ ببغداد بالمدرسة المُستعصِمِيَّة، ثم دَرَّسَ بالمستنصِرِيَّة بعد وفاة نور الدين البَّصري المتقدم ذكره، وتوفي فيما يغلِبُ على ظَنِّي بعد التسعين وست مئة. انتهى. وذكر له ابنُ العماد وابن رجب تصانيفُ منها: كتاب "الحاوي في أصول الفقه"، وكتاب "تحرير الدلائل في أصول الدين".
