    ١٣٠٤ - (ت ٦٨٥ هـ): أحمد بن شيبان بن تغلب بن حَيْدَرَة الشيباني، الصَّالحي، العَطَّار ثم الخَيَّاط، الحنبلي، بدرُ الدين أبو العباس. قال ابن العماد (¬٣): هو راوي مسند الإِمام أحمد، أكثر عن حنبل، وابن طبرزد، وجماعة. وأجاز له أبو جعفر الصَّيْدَلاني وخلقٌ، وكان مطبوعًا، متواضعًا، توفي في الثامن والعشرين من شهر صفر سنة خمس وثمانين وست مئة عن تسع وثمانين سنة. انتهى. وذكره ابن رجب (¬٤) وقال: هو أحمد بن سنان بن تغلب المؤدب الصالحي الكاتب أبو العَبَّاس، أحد المُسنِدين وقال: توفي بقاسيون، في شهرِ صفر سنة خمس وثمانين وست مئة، روى عن حنبل وابن طبرزد، والكِنْدِي والطبقة، وله نظمٌ جَيِّدٌ وكذلك كان أبوه.
