١٢٧٠ - (ت ٦٧٣ هـ): إسماعيلُ بن أبي سَعد بن عليّ بن منصور بن محمد بن الحُسَين، الشَّيباني، الآمَدِيّ، المصري، الحنبلي، الصّاحب شرف الدين. قال ابنُ العماد (¬١): كان من العُلماء الفُضلاء، وله تصانيف، ونَظْمٌ ونَثْرٌ. وسمعَ الحديث ورواه. وكان مُحدِّثًا فاضلًا، مُتقنًا. توفي سنة ثلاث وسَبعين وست مئة. انتهى. وذكره ابنُ رجب (¬٢) بمثله، وزاد: وكان وزيرًا للملك السَّعيد الارتقي، صاحب ماردين. وذكر ابنُ العماد، وابنُ رجب، من تصانيفه: "تاريخُ مدينة آمد".
