    ١٢٦٣ - (ت ٦٧٠ هـ): عبد الرحمن بن سُليمان بن سَعيد بن سُليمان، البغدادي الأصل، الحرّاني المولد، الفقيه الحنبلي، أبو محمد، جمال الدِّين البغدادي، نزيل دمشق. قال ابنُ العماد (¬٣): ولد سنة خمس وثمانين وخمس مئة في أحد رَبيعَيْها. وسمع من عبد القادر الحافظ، وحَنْبَل، وحمَّاد الحرّاني، وغيرهم. وتفقَّه بالشَّيخ الموفق. وبرع وأفتى، وانتفع به جَماعة، وحدَّث. وروى عنه طائفة، منهم ابنُ الخبَّاز، وكان إمامًا بحلقة الحنابلة بالجامع. توفي في رابع شعبان، سنة سبعين وست مئة. ودفن بسَفح قاسِيُون. انتهى. وذكره ابن رجب (¬٤) بنحوه.
