    ١٢٤٣ - (ت ٦٥٨ هـ): عبد الله بن أحمد بن أبي بكر محمد بن إبراهيم، السَّعدي المقدسي، الصَّالحي، الحَنبلي، المحدِّث المُفيد، محبُّ الدِّين، أبو محمد. قال ابنُ العماد (¬٣): هو مُفيد الجبل، رحَّال حافظ. وروى عن الشيخ المُوَفّق، وابن البُنّ، وابن الزَّبَيْدِي. ورحل إلى بغداد، فسمع من ابن القُبَّيْطِي، وابن أبي الفخار، وطبقتهما. وكتب الكثير، وعُني بالحديث أتمَّ عِناية، وأكثر السَّماع والكتابة. وتوفي في ثاني عِشري جُمادى الآخرة، سنة ثمانٍ وخمسين وست مئة، وله أربعون سنة. انتهى. وذكره ابن رجب (¬٤) بنحوه.
