    ١٢٠٦ - (ت ٦٤٦ هـ): أحمد بن سَلَامة بن أحمد بن سُلَيمان، النجَّار، الحَرَّاني، أبو العبَّاس، الحنبلي، المحدَّث، الزَّاهد الصَّالح، القُدوة. قال ابنُ رجب (¬٤): سمع الكثير من ابن كُلَيب، وكتب بخطَّه الأجزاء والطَّبَاق، وصحب الحافظَ عبدَ الغني المَقْدِسِيِّ، والحافظَ عبد القادر الرُّهَاوِيّ، والشَّيخ مُوَفَّق الدِّين المَقْدِسِيّ. وسمع منهم، وحدَّث. وسمع منه جماعة، قال ابنُ حَمْدَان: سمعت عليه كثيرًا، وكان من دُعاة أهل السُّنَّة، ووُلاتهم، مشهورًا بالزُّهد، والوَرَع والصَّلاح، توفي في سنة ستٍّ وأربعين وست مئة بحَرَّان. انتهى. وذكره ابن العماد (¬٥) بمثله.
