    ١١٧٥ - (ت ٦٣٩ هـ): أحمد بن محفوظ بن مهيا بن شكر بن الصَّابُوني، الرُّصَافي، البغدادي، الفقيه، الحنبلي، المحدث، أبو العَبَّاس. قال ابن رجب (¬٤): سمع الكثيرَ، وعُنِيَ بالسَّمَاع، وكَتَبَ الطبَاقَ بخَطِّه، وهو حَسَنٌ، وتفقه على القاضي أبي صالح نصر بنِ عبدِ الرزاق، وكانَ خَيِّرًا، صالحًا متعبدًا، من خِيارِ الطَّلَبَةَ توفي يومَ الأحد تاسع عشرين صَفَر سنةَ تسعٍ وثلاثينَ وست مئة، ودُفِنَ بمقبرة معروفٍ الكرخي. انتهى. وذكره ابنُ العماد (¬٥) بمثله إلا أنَّ الذي في "الشذرات" أحمد بن محفوظ بن مهنا بن شكر بن الصابوني.
