    ١١٥٩ - (ت ٦٣٤ هـ): أحمد بن أكمل بن أحمد بن مسعود بن عبد الواحد بن مطر بن أحمد بن محمد، الهاشمي، العباسي، أبو العَبَّاس، البغدادي، الفقيه، الحنبلي، الخطيب، المعدل.قال ابن العماد (¬١): ولد في ربيع الأول سنة سبعين وخمس مئة، وسَمِعَ من ابن شاتيل وغيره، وتفقَّه في المذهب، وطعن فيه بعضهم، وحَدَّث هو وأبوه وجَدُّه وعَمُّه أفضل، وسَمِعَ منهُ ابنُ السَّاعي وغيرُه، وتوفي في ثامن ربيع الأوَّل سنة أربعٍ وثلاثين وست مئة، ودفن عند أبيه بمقبرة الإِمام أحمد. انتهى. وذكره ابن رجب (¬٢) بأبسط مما هنا.
