١٠٨١ - (ت ٦١٣ هـ): أحمد بن عُبيد الله بن قُدَامة المَقْدِسي الحنبلي، أبو الحسن شرف الدين.قال ابن العماد (¬١): وُلد سنة ثلاثٍ وسبعين وخمس مئة، وسمع من أبي الفرج بن كُلَيب وغيره، وحدَّث، وكان فقيهًا فاضلًا، دَيِّنًا عاملًا، جمع الله له بين حسن الخُلُق والخَلْق، والأمانة والمروءة، وقضاء حوائج الإِخوان، والكرم والإِحسان إلى الضعفاء والمرضى، وقضاء حوائجهم، والتَّهجُّد، وكان يقول الحقَّ ولا يحابي أحدًا، وتوفي ليلة رابع عشر ذي القعدة سنة ثلاثَ عشرة وست مئة، ودفن من الغد بسَفْح قاسِيُون، ورُويت له منامات حسنة، ورثاه غير واحد. انتهى ملخصًا. وذكره ابن رجب (¬٢) وغيره.
