    ١٠٥٧ - (ت ٦٠٩ هـ): أحمد بن مُبشر بن يزيد بن علي أبو العبَّاس المقرئ، الحنبلي الواسِطي. ذكرته في "القطف" بما ملخصه: صحب صَدَقَة بن الحسين الواسطي، وتفقَّه عليه، وقدم معه إلى بغداد واستوطنها إلى أن توفي، سمع بالبصرة أبا إسحاق إبراهيم بن عطية المقرئ، وأبا الحسن بن المُعين الصُّوفي، وبواسط من أبي الفرج بن السَّوادي، وأبي الحسين علي بن المبارك الشاهد، وببغداد من أبي الوقت عبد الأوَّل السِّجْزي، والنقيب أبي جعفر المكِّي، وبالكوفة من أبي الحسن بن غبرة الحارثي وغيرهم، وحدَّث عنهم، سمع منه الدُّبَيْثي وغيره، ومولده سنة خمسٍ وعشرين وخمس مئة، ومات ببغداد في جمادى الآخرة، سنة تسعٍ وست مئة.
