    ١٠٥٦ - (ت ٦٠٩ هـ): الفُضَيل بن عمر بن منصور بن علي بن الرائِض، أبو مَنْصور الحنبلي المقرئ، الكاتب البغدادي. ذكره ابن النجَّار فقال: ولد سنة اثنتين وخمسين وخمس مئة، وقرأ بالروايات على علي بن عساكر البطائِحي، وكتب الخط المنسوب طريق الشيخ ابن البوَّاب، وكان كهلًا حسنًا، مُتدينًا، ساكنًا، طيِّب الأخلاق، مَرْضِيَّ السيرة، محمود الأفعال، كيِّسًا متواضعًا، مات في جمادى الآخرة، سنة تسعٍ وست مئة، ودفن بباب حرب. كذا في "القطف الدَّان".
