١٠٤١ - (ت ٦٠٤ هـ): عبد الواحد بن عبد السلام بن سلطان بن بختيار، أبو الفضل البغدادي الأَزَجي البَيِّع، المقرئ الحنبلي. قال ابن الجزري في "الغاية" (¬١): قرأ القراآت على سِبْط الخيَّاط، وأبي الكرم الشَّهْرُزُوري، وسمع منهما ومن الأُرْمَوي، واعتنى بالفن، وأَقرأَ جماعةً، قرأ عليه المجد ابن تيمية، وإبراهيم بن الحسن، وأجاز لابن البخاري، وكان ديِّنًا، صالحًا خيِّرًا، حنبليًا. توفي في ربيع الأول، سنة أربعٍ وست مئة. انتهى. وذكره ابن العماد في "الشذرات" (¬٢) بنحوه، إلَّا أنَّهُ قال: توفي عن نحو ثلاثٍ وثمانين سنة.
