٩٩٤ - (ت ٥٩٤ هـ): محمد البَشيلي الشيخ، الصالح، العابد، الحنبلي. ذكره ياقوت في "معجم البلدان" (¬٤) وقال: كان شيخًا، صالحًا، صحب الشيخَعبد القادر الجِيْلِي، وتفقَّه عليه، وكان يتبرك به، ويحسن الظن فيه، وكان حسنَ السمت، جميلَ الطريقة، مات في شعبان سنة أربعٍ وتسعين وخمس مئة، والبشيلي: نسبة إلى بَشيلَة قرية من قرى نهر عيسى قُرب بغداد. انتهى.
