    ٩٨١ - (ت ٥٩٢ هـ): إلياس بن حامد بن محمود بن حامد بن محمد بن أبي الحجر، الحرَّاني، تقيُّ الدين، أبو الفضل، الفقيه الحنبلي، المحدِّث. قال ابن العماد (¬٥): سمع ببغداد مِنْ شُهْدَة وغيرها.قال ناصح الدين بن الحنبلي: وكان رفيقي في درس شَيخنا ابن المَنِّي، وسكن المَوْصِل إلى أنْ توفي بها في سَلْخ شوال، سنة اثنتين وتسعين وخمس مئة، وكان قد وَلِيَ مَشْيخة دارِ الحديث بها، وكانَ حسنَ الطريقةِ، وسَمِعَ منهُ بدل التبريزي. انتهى. وذكره ابن رجب (¬١) وقال: قال المنذري: وقيل إنَّه توفي سنة ثلاث وتسعين وخمس مئة.
