    ٩٧٩ - (ت ٥٩١ هـ): علي بن هلال بن خميس الوَاسِطِي، الفاخراني، أبو الحسن، معينُ الدين، الحنبلي.قال ابن العماد (¬١): والفاخراني نسبة إلى بيع الفَخَّار، وكان ضريرًا ذكره المنذري فقال: تَفَقَّه على مذهب أحمد بن حنبل، وسَمِعَ من أبي الحسين بن عبد الخالق وأبي الفرج بن صدقة، وخديجة بنت أحمد النَّهْرَوَاني وغيرهم، وحدَّث. وهو منسوب إلى الفخرانية قرية من سواد واسط، توفي حادي عشري ذي الحجة سنة إحدى وتسعين وخمس مئة. انتهى. وذكره ابن رجب (¬٢) بنحوه وزاد أنَّه دُفِنَ بباب حَرْب.
