٩٦٤ - (ت ٥٨٨ هـ): علي بن أبي العِزّ بنِ عبد الله، أبو الحسن، البَاجَرَّائيبفتح الموحدة والجيم وتشديد الراء، نسبةً إلى باجرّا بالجزيرة، الفقيه، الحنبلي، الزاهد. قال ابن العماد (¬١): كان يسكن بمدرسة الشيخ عبد القادر، وسمع الكثير من أبي الوقت، وابن البطي، وغيرهما، وحَدّث باليسير، وسمع منه جماعةٌ من الفقهاء، وكان صالحًا وَرِعًا مُتديِّنًا، ذا عبادةٍ وزهدٍ. توفي ليلة الخميس حادي عشر ذي القعدة سنة ثمانٍ وثمانين وخمس مئة. ودفن بباب حرب. انتهى. وذكره ابن رجب (¬٢) بنحوه، وله مصنفات ذكر ابنُ العماد وابنُ رجب منها "تفسير القرآن الكريم" أربع مجلدات.
