    ٩٤٣ - (ت ٥٨٠ هـ): محمد بن خالد بن بختيار، أبو بكر البغدادي الأَزَجي الرَّزَّاز، الضرير، المقرئ، النَّحْوي، الحنبلي. قرأ على أبي عبد الله البارع، وأبي محمد سِبْط الخيَّاط، ودَعْوَان بن علي، وعليه تفقَّه. ذكره ابن الجزري في "طبقات القراء" (¬١)، وذكره الذهبي وقال: اقرأ الناس مدةً، وكان عارفًا بوجوه القراآت، تخرَّج به جماعة في الفقه والعربية، وتوفي سنة ثمانين وخمس مئة. انتهى.
