٨٧١ - (ت ٥٥٣ هـ): سالم بن عبد الله بن عبد الملك، الشَّيْبَاني، الفقيه، الحنبلي، الزاهد. قال ابن العماد (¬١): صحب أبا بكر الدِّيْنَوري، وسمع من الشريف أبي العز بن المختار، وأبي الغنائم النَّرْسِي، وغيرهما. قال ابن شافع: كان فقيهًا، زاهدًا، مخمولًا ذكرهُ عند أبناء الدنيا، رفيعًا عند الله، وصالحي عباده. توفي ليلة الأربعاء سابع شعبان، سنة ثلاث وخمسين وخمس مئة. انتهى. وذكره ابن رجب (¬٢) بنحو ذلك.
