    ٨٦٧ - (ت ٥٥١ هـ): محمد بن عُبيد الله بن نَصْر بن السَّرِي، الزَّاغُوني، الحَنْبلي، أبو بكر المُجَلِّد، أخو أبي الحسن علي بن عُبيد الله المتقدم. قال ابن العماد (¬٣): سمع أبا القاسم بن البُسْري، وأبا نصر الزَّيْنَبي والكبار، وصار مسندَ العراق، وكان صالحًا مَرْضيًا إليه المنتهى في التجليد، اصطفاه الخليفة لتجليد خزانة كتبه، وتوفي في ربيع الآخر سنة اثنتين وخمسين وخمس مئة، وله أربع وثمانون سنة. انتهى. وذكره ابن ياقوت في "معجم البلدان" (¬٤) وقال: كان مُجلدًا للكتب، أستاذًا حاذِقًا، ولد سنة ثمانٍ وستين وأربع مئة. وروى الحديث، وتوفي سنة إحدى وخمسين وخمس مئة. انتهى.
