    ٨٦٤ - (ت ٥٥٠ هـ): عبد الملك بن محمد بن عبد الملك اليَعْقُوبي، المؤَدِّب، أبو الكرم الحنبلي. قال ابن العماد (¬٢): ولد بعد السبعين وأربع مئة، وسمع من ابن النَّرْسِي، وأبي الغنائم ابن المهتدي، وغيرهما.وحدَّث وسمع منه ابن الخَشَّاب، وابن شافع، وكان رجلًا صالحًا، من خيار أصحابنا الحنابلة. تفقَّه على ابن عقيل، وصحبه، وسمع الحديث الكثير، ونظم الشعر. وتوفي سنة خمسين وخمس مئة. انتهى. وذكره ابن رجب (¬١) بنحوه.
