٨٤٠ - (ت ٥٤١ هـ): الفضل بن عمر بن أبي منصور، أبو المعافى الحلواني، البغدادي الحَنْبلي المقرئ. قال ابن شافع: قرأ على سِبْط الخيَّاط، وكان مقرئًا، ضابطًا مجودًا، قرأ القرآن، وأقرأه، وخَتَّم خلقًا كثيرًا، وسمع الحديث الكثير، وكتب لنفسه، وكان متعفِّفًا متقلِّلًا، مات يوم الخميس، حادي عشر شعبان، سنة إحدى وأربعين وخمس مئة، وصُلِّي عليه بجامع القصر وبمدرسة الشيخ عبد القادر الجِيْلي. انتهى.
