    ٨٣٣ - (ت ٥٣٨ هـ): محمد بن علي بن صدقة بن جلب الصائغ، أبو البركات الحنبلي، أمين الحكم بباب الأَزَج. قال ابن العماد (¬١): سمع من أبي محمد التَّمِيْمي، وقرأ الفقه على القاضي أبي خازم، وذكر ابن القطيعي له أبيات شعرٍ أجاب بها على فتوى شعريةٍ سئل عنها أبو خازم، فأسره القاضي أبو خازم بالإِجابة عليها. وتوفي ليلة الثلاثاء، سابع عشر رجب، سنة ثمانِ وثلاثين وخمس مئة، ودفن بباب حرب، وسبب موته أن زوجته سمَّته في طعامٍ قدَّمته له، فأكل معه منه رجلان، فمات أحدهما من ليلته، والآخر من غده، وبقي أبو البركات مريضًا مُدَيدةً ثم مات. انتهى.
