    ٧٦٣ - الحسين بن محمد العُكْبَرِيّ، أبو الموَاهِب، الحنبلي. ذكره ابنُ رجب في "طبقاته" (¬٤)، وقال: هو أحد الفقهاء الأكابر، وله تصانيف في المذهب، أظنُّه من أصحاب القاضي، أو من أصحابه القدماء. ووقفتُ له على رؤوس المسائل، وهي منتخبة من الخلاف الكبير، على طريق أبي جعفر، وأبي الخطَّاب. وقد روى عن محمد بن عبد الله بن أحمد بن عبد الله الخيَّاط العُكْبَرِيّالمقُرِئ. وروى عنه نصر المَقْدِسِيّ. وشيخُه العُكْبَريُّ هذا كان من أصحاب ابن بَطَّة، فقيهًا. مات سنة تسع وثلاثين وأربع مئة. ذكره ابنُ البَنَّاء في طبقات الفقهاء. ورواية نصر المقدسي عن أبي المواهب تدلُّ على تقدُّمِ وفاته. انتهى.
