    ٧٤٦ - (ت ٤٩٣ هـ): زياد بن هارون، أبو القاسم، الجِيْلِيّ، الفقيه الحنبلي. قال ابن العماد (¬١): هو نزيل بغداد، سمع بها من أبي مُسْلِم اللَّيْثي البُخَاري. وحدّثَ عنه بكتاب "الوجيز" لابن خُزيمة، سمعه منه أبو الحسن بن الزَّاغُوني، وأبو الحسين بن الآبَنُوسي. وتوفي زياد هذا؛ في طاعون سنة ثلاث وتسعين وأربع مئة. انتهى. وذكره ابنُ رجب (¬٢) بنحوه، إلاّ أنه قال: زياد بن علي بن هارون.
