٧٤١ - (ت ٤٨٩ هـ): محمد بن علي الحَمَّامي، أبو ياسر البغدادي، الحنبلي، المقرئ. ذكره ابنُ الجَزَرِيّ في "الغاية" (¬٤)، قال: هو حاذقٌ، ناقل كتاب "الإِيجاز في القراءات العَشر". قرأ على أبي علي غُلام الهَرَّاس، وأبي بكر بن موسى الخيَّاط. قرأ عليه أبو بكر المُزْرَفي، وأبو نصر أحمد بن محمد بن بغراج. وسمع من أبي جعفر بن المُسْلِمَة. وتفقَّه على القاضي أبي يعلى. وكتب الكثير بخطِّه، وعني بالقراءات. مات في المُحَرَّم، سنة تسع وثمانين وأربع مئة، كهلًا. انتهى.
