    ١٧ - عَبْدُ البَاقِي بنُ جَعْفَرِ (¬٢) بنُ شَهْلِي، الفَقِيْهُ الحَنْبَلِيُّ، أَبُو البَرَكَاتِ. قَالَ ابنُ السَّمْعَانِيِّ: أَحَدُ المُقِلِّيْنَ، حَدَّثَ بِشَيْءٍ يَسِيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ البَرْمَكِيِّ، وَرَوَى عَنْهُ هِبَةُ اللهِ السَّقَطِيُّ فِي "مُعْجَمِهِ" وَذَكَرَ القَاضِيْ أَبُو الحُسَيْنِ فِي أَسْمَاءِ مَنْ تَفَقَّهَ عَلَى أَبِيْهِ (¬٣)، وَعَلَّقَ، وَسَمِعَ الحَدِيْثَ: أَبَا البَرَكَاتِ بنَ شَهْلِيٍّ، وَهُوَ هَذَا، رَأَيْتُ ذلِكَ فِي طَبَقَةِ سَمَاعِهِ (¬٤). قَالَ القَاضِي أَبُو يَعْلَى: وَهُوَ ابنُ شَهْلِي بِاليَاءِ.

    ٧١٨ - (ت ٤٧٣ هـ): عبدُ الباقي بنُ جعفر بن شَهْلى، الفقيه الحنبلي، أبو البركات. ذكره ابن رجب (¬١) هنا، ولم يذكر وفاته. وقال: قال ابنُ السَّمْعَاني: هو أحد المقِلِّين، حدَّث بشيءٍ يسير عن أبي إسحاق البَرْمَكِيّ. وروى عنه هبةُ الله السَّقَطِي في "معجمه". وذكر القاضي أبو الحسين، في أسماء من تفقَّه على أبيه، وعلَّق، وسمع الحديث: أبا البركات ابن شَهْلى، وهو هذا. انتهى كلام ابن رجب.
