    ٧١٤ - (ت ٤٧٠ هـ): كامل بن خليفة بن الحسين، أبو محمد المدني البغدادي، المقرئ الحنبلي. قال ابن الجَزَري في "الغاية" (¬٢): قرأ على أبي منصور الخيَّاط، وأبي طاهر بن سِوَار. وسمع عبد الله بن محمد الصَّرِيْفيْنِي، وعبد السلام بن أحمد الأنصَاري، والشَّريف محمد بن عليِّ بن المهتدي بالله. وانقطع إلى جامع المنصور للتعبُّد، فأدركه أجلُه وهو شَابٌّ حَدَث. وكان ثقةً، صالحًا. توفي ليلة الجمعة، سابع ربيع الأول، سنة سبعين وأربع مئة، ودفن بباب حرب. انتهى.
