٧٠٢ - (ت ٤٦١ هـ): عبد الله البرداني، أبو محمد الزاهد الحنبلي. ذكره ابن رجب (¬٤)، وقال: كان منقطعًا في بيت بجامع المنصور، يتعبد خمسين سنة. قال ابن البنَّاء: كان من خيار المسلمين، لا يقبل من أحد شيئًا، مع الزَّهادة والعبادة. روى عنه أبو بكر المَزْرَفِيّ الفَرَضِيّ. وتوفي يوم السَّبت، سادس ربيع الأول، سنة إحدى وستين وأربع مئة. وصلي عليه بجامع المنصور، وكان خلقًا عظيمًا. ودفن في مقبرة الإِمام أحمد بن حنبل. وتولَّى غسلَه والصَّلاةَ عليه الشريف أبو جعفر. انتهى ملخصًا.
