٦٨٩ - (ت ٤٤٨ هـ): الحسين بن عثمان بن الحسين، أبو عبد الله البَرَدَانيّ الحنبلي. قال النابلسي (¬٣): صحب أبا يعلى، وكان له التحقيق، وأنهى معظم التعليق، وله المعرفة بالأدب، وخرج إلى "مَيَّافَارِقِين"، وجلس هناك مدرسًا ومفتيًا. وتوفي في جُمادى الآخرة، سنة ثمان وأربعين وأربع مئة. انتهى.
