٦٠٦ - (ت ٣٣٠ هـ): محمد بن أحمد بن صالح بن أحمد بن حنبل الحنبلي، أبو جعفر. قال النابلسي (¬٢): حدث عن عم أبيه عبد الله بن أحمد بن حنبل، وأبيه أحمد بن صالح، وعمه زهير بن صالح، وعمر بن مرداس الدَّوْرَقي، وإبراهيم بن سعدانالأصبهاني في آخرين. روى عنه جماعة منهم: أبو القاسم عبد الله بن إبراهيم، ومحمد بن إسماعيل الورَّاق، والدارقطني، وتوفي سنة ثلاثين وثلاث مئة. انتهى. وذكره الخطيب البغدادي في "تاريخه" (¬١) بنحوه.
