٤٤٣ - (ت ٢٧٢ هـ): محمد بن عبد الوهاب، أبو أحمد. ذكره ابن الجوزي (¬٢) فيمن روى عن أحمد، ولم يذكره النابلسي. قلت: هو محمد بن عبد الوهاب بن حبيب بن مهران العبدي، أبو أحمد الفراء الحافظ النيسابوري. فقد ذكر له ابن حجر في "التهذيب" (¬٣) ترجمة حافلة جدًا ذكر فيها أنه أخذ الأدب عن الأصمعي وغيره، والحديث عن أحمد بن حنبل وعلي ويحيى، والفقه عن أبيه وغيره، وكان يفتي في هذه العلوم، ويرجع إليه فيها، وذكر أيضًا أنه روى عنه البخاري ومسلم وأنه توفي سنة اثنتين وسبعين ومئتين.
