٣٩٩ - (ت ٢٧٧ هـ): محمد بن إسماعيل الصائغ.ذكره ابن الجوزي فيمن روى عن أحمد، ولم يذكره النابلسي. وقال ابن العماد في "الشذرات" (¬١): هو محدث مكة محمد بن إسماعيل الصائغ أبو جعفر. سمع أبا أسامة، وشبابة، وطبقتهما، وتوفي سنة سبع وسبعين ومئتين، وقد قارب التسعين. انتهى.
