١٧٧ - (ت ٢٦٠ هـ): الحسن بن محمد بن الصبَّاح ابن الزعفراني، أبو علي. قال النابلسي (¬٣): سمع سفيان بن عيينة، وعبيدة بن حميد، وإسماعيل بن عُلَيَّة، وغيرهم. روى عن الشافعي كتابه القديم، وروى عن أحمد بن حنبل فيما ذكره أبو بكر الخلَّال. حدث عنه البخاري، وقاسم المطرِّز، وإسماعيل الورَّاق، وغيرهم. وقال ابن المنادي: هو أحد الثقات بالجانب الغربي من مدينة السَّلام. مات سنة ستين ومئتين. انتهى. وذكره ابن حجر في "التقريب" و"التهذيب" (¬٤) و"الخلاصة" للخزرجي، وياقوت الحَمَوي في "المعجم" (¬٥) وغيرهم.
