    ١٧٢ - (ت ٢٥٧ هـ): الحسن بن عبد العزيز الوزير، أبو علي الجُذَامي، ويعرف بالجَرَوِيّ، من أهل مصر. قال النابلسي (¬٤): قدم بغداد وحَدَّث بها عن يحيى بن حَسّان، وبشر بن بكر، وعبد الله بن يحيى، وغيرهم. وروى عن أحمد بن حنبل. وذكره أبو بكر الخلَّال، فقال: له مسائل لم يجئ بها غيره. وروى عنه: إبراهيم الحربي، وابن أبي الدنيا، وابن صاعد، وغيرهم. وآخرهم أبو عبد الله المحاملي. وكان من أهل الدين والفضل، مذكورًا بالدين والوَرَع والثقه، موصوفًا بالعبادة. وثَّقه أبو حاتم. وقال الدارقطني: لم نر مثله فضلًا وزهدًا.ومات ببغداد سنة سبع وخمسين ومئتين. انتهى. وذكره ابن العماد والعليمي (¬١) وعَدَّه في الحنابلة.
