١٦٠ - (ت ٢٨٣ هـ): جعفر بن محمد بن علي، أبو القاسم الورَّاق، ثم المؤدِّب البَلْخِي. قال النابلسي (¬٥): سكن بغداد، وحَدَّث بها عن سهل بن عثمان العسكري، ومحمد بن حميد الرازي، وحضر مجلس أحمد بن حنبل، وسمع منه أشياء.روى عنه: محمد بن مخلد وعبد الصمد الطستي. ومات سنة ثلاث وثمانين ومئتين في شهر رمضان. انتهى.
